The Woman Accelerator “She's Next”: An Opportunity for Moldova’s Female Entrepreneurs to Build a Strong Business and Win a €5,000 Grant

Chisinau, 22 July 2024 – Women entrepreneurs in the Republic of Moldova looking to scale their businesses and multiply their revenues are invited to apply to the Women Accelerator “She’s Next”. This women-empowering mentoring program will equip the promising women entrepreneurs with relevant expertise and resources for them to grow and run successful businesses. The program is supported by Visa, the global leader in digital payments in partnership with  maib, the largest bank in Moldova, and EFSE, the entrepreneurship fund advised by Finance in Motion.           

The second edition of the Women Accelerator “She’s Next”, implemented by XY Partners, is a dynamic three-month accelerator program for women-led companies aiming for regional and global expansion. The program’s mission is to assist 21 women entrepreneurs in growing their businesses and multiplying their revenues. The best performing participant in the program will be awarded a €5,000 grant by maib and  Visa for business development.

She's Next Accelerator participants will benefit from:

  • 16 weekly workshops on sales, SMM, marketing, business accounting and customer loyalty;
  • One-on-one mentoring sessions with successful businesswomen;
  • Business Speed Dating event participation, connecting with 30 potential clients, investors, and partners;
  • Access to digital tools and to a network of women entrepreneurs;
  • Training in grant applications and fund raising;
  • Special business packages from Visa, maib and partners.

She's Next business accelerator program is intended for:

  • Women entrepreneurs with a monthly business income between €1,000 and €5,000;
  • Those seeking to broaden their market reach both regionally and internationally;
  • Female entrepreneurs eager to engage fully in the program’s activities;
  • Women seeking additional motivation and support and wishing to join a robust community of fellow female entrepreneurs.

All applicants will have the opportunity to participate in a series of webinars focused on the international business expansion and exportation of products and services. These are part of the global initiative She's Next Empowered by Visa in Moldova.

Selected participants will enjoy a bespoke package of business solutions from Visa and maib, tailored to meet the unique demands of local enterprises.

In 2023, the first wave of the Women Accelerator “She’s Next” program in Moldova, supported by She's Next Empowered by Visa in partnership with maib and EFSE supported 30 women to develop their businesses through comprehensive training and networking opportunities.
