Now, you can set up or change your business card PIN in just a few moments via the maibank app. There's no need to go to the branch or call - it's all done securely and easily online. Once you have set your new PIN, your business card is immediately ready to use.
How to set up or change the PIN online for your business card via maibank?
- Go to the maibank app;
- Choose the business card for which you want to set the PIN;
- Select the "Set PIN code" option from the card menu;
- Enter a four-digit PIN code of your choice;
- Repeat the new PIN code for confirmation;
- Complete the process using the standard authorisation methods.
The physical card will be active after setting the PIN code in maibank. Using the card to make payments, with physical insertion of the card in the POS terminal, will only be possible after a successful contact transaction at any maib ATM (physical insertion in the ATM) and confirmation with the new PIN code set in maibank (e.g. Balance check, cash withdrawal).
If you have forgotten/lost the PIN set, change the PIN code in maibank without having to reissue the card. To do this, select the "Change PIN code" option from the card options, and follow the same steps as for setting.
When should you use this service?
- If you have just received a business card, either from the branch or through a card delivery service;
- If you have forgotten or lost your business card PIN.
Once you have set up or changed your PIN in maibank, you will be able to carry out many transactions, including:
- Payments using digital wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay or Garmin Pay;
- Contactless payments at merchants;
- ATM transactions;
- Payments in maibank and online.
