QR code payments are an alternative service for accepting cashless payments without having an online platform connected to the online payment module (e-commerce) or a POS terminal.
All international payment system cards are accepted for payment: Mastercard, Visa, and Google Pay & Apple Pay payment options.
QR code payments are intended for merchants with the following profiles:
- Fairs, exhibitions and festive events
- Travel agencies and hotels
- Private consultations, training, coaching, teaching, additional hours
- Car rental
- Horeca, bakeries, cafés, etc.
- Fill in the form
- Sign the contract and open the necessary accounts at maib (see here for a list of documents and how to open an account online).

The QR code is generated in the merchant’s cabinet. Find the "Generate QR" button and fill in the required fields for generating:
- Product name
- Product description
- QR type (unique/multiple)
- Amount
- QR code validity
The generated QR code can be canceled by pressing the ”Cancel” button in the "Payments" menu in the merchant cabinet.
In the "Payments" section of the merchant’s cabinet, you can check 24/7 the payments that have been made using the generated QR code. The payment information is updated online, which makes the transactions immediately visible in the merchant's cabinet. Returning money is done in the „Payment” section in the merchant’s cabinet by pressing the "Return" button and confirming the amount to be returned.
