As a result of international economic sanctions imposed on Russia due to the conflict in Ukraine, banks in the EU and the US have restricted the execution of foreign currency payments to the Russian Federation. Following recommendations from our partners in the EU, maib has suspended, starting from December 23, 2024, EUR payments to beneficiaries in the Russian Federation.
USD payments will continue to be processed, provided they are accepted by our correspondent bank.
