The t2c(Transfer to Card) service offers you the possibility to receive money from abroad directly on the card, without coming to the bank. t2c is available for money transfers through Ria, MoneyGram, Zolotaya Korona, Western Union, InteliExpress,Smith&Smith,Contact (temporarily suspended) systems. It is quick, free and can be accessed anytime!
How do you receive a t2c transfer?
Via maibpay.md page?
Access the page and fill in a simple form:
- choose the transfer system through which the money was sent Ria, MoneyGram, Zolotaya Korona, Western Union, InteliExpress,Smith&Smith,Contact (temporarily suspended);
- enter the transfer code received from the person who sent the money;
- choose the amount and currency of the transfer (EUR, USD, MDL)*;
- enter the personal code in the identity card (IDNP code);
- enter your maib card number (last 8 digits).
The system will send a verification code to your mobile phone number, which you will enter on the confirmation page and ... that's it. The transfer is made.
* If the card currency differs from the remittance currency, the money will be automatically converted at maib exchange rate for card transactions.
Via maibank mobile application
1. Access maibank application* and select the Payments menu;
2. Select ‘International card transfer’ option and fill in the form:
- choose the transfer system through which the money was sent Ria, MoneyGram, Zolotaya Korona, Western Union, InteliExpress,Smith&Smith,Contact (temporarily suspended);
- enter the transfer code received from the person who sent the money;
- choose the amount and currency of the transfer (EUR, USD, MDL)**;
- select the card on which you will receive the money;
- press the Continue button and confirm the transaction.
- That’s it ... The transfer has been successfully made.

The t2c (Transfer to Card) service is FREE.
Through the maibpay.md page you can receive the money sent through the Ria Money Transfer, Contact, Western Union and Zolotaya Korona systems, and in the maibank mobile app transfers are available through the Ria Money Transfer, Contact, Western Union and Unistream systems.
The t2c service can be used to receive money transfers from any country, if it is included in the list of sending countries of the chosen transfer system.
No. The t2c service is only intended for holders of maib cards and/or bank accounts.
If the currency of the card/account differs from the currency of the transfer, the money will be automatically converted at maib's exchange rate for card transactions.
There could be several reasons:
- When filling in the form, you incorrectly indicated the transfer dates. We recommend that you check their correctness.
- The bank card is not issued by maib. We specify that the t2c service is intended only for holders of maib cards and/or bank accounts.
- The t2c service is unavailable for the system through which you received the money.
- Technical errors in the service. Customers are informed about this through an announcementon the www.maib.md page.
