card delivery service

Because we know your time is precious, maib offers you a service - bank card delivery to any address in the Republic of Moldova.
 
The service can be requested when opening or reissuing a bank card:

• in the bank branch;
• through the maibank app

Opening a card in maib branches

If you don't have a maib card and you came to the bank to open it, then tick the delivery option when completing the card issuance request.

 In the application, indicate the address where you want to receive the card. Fill in the data correctly, especially the phone number, because you will be contacted by the courier when your card is ready for delivery. In addition, the phone number is required to access the maibank mobile app.

Opening a card through maibank

Are you already a maib customer and an active user of the maibank app? Then access the app on your mobile phone and follow a few simple steps:

1. Select the “Open a new card” option from the “Cards” section on the main screen;
2. Select the desired card;
3. Sign the application and the contract online.
4. Select the delivery option and indicate the delivery address.

The card is delivered in a secure envelope. The delivery is made throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova, except for the localities on the left of the Dniester and the municipality of Bender.
 

Details that are worth knowing:

1. The card will only be handed to the recipient upon presentation of an identification document;
2. Through the courier service, you can receive the following cards, which can be activated through the PinBySMS option:

• maib daily;
• maib gama universal;
• maib gama premium;
• maib freelance;
• maib junior;
• Mastercard Platinum;
• Visa Platinum;
• Mastercard World Elite;
• American Express Green;
• American Express Gold.

The card is sent inactive without the set PIN code for the safety of your money in the account. To set the PIN code, you need the activation code. See here how you can get it. After receiving the activation code, go to any maib ATM or POS terminal in the maib branch/agency and set the desired PIN code.

The delivery is made within 3 working days from the application submission by Nova Poshta Moldova at the date and time established by mutual agreement.

The standard cost of the service is 40 MDL. The money will be automatically withheld from the card account.
