BC “Moldova Agroindbank” SA has been awarded the Diploma of the Sports Press Association of the Republic of Moldova (APSM) “For the promotion and support of the national sport and the sports press”. The award was presented at the APSM Laureates Gala on Monday evening, December 14, in which MAIB participated as a guest, but also as the Official Partner of the ceremony.
The Gala of the Laureates of the Sports Press of the Republic of Moldova is held annually and aims to encourage the support of national sports, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. APSM also wants to pay tribute to the best journalists specializing in spot art, as well as those who practice their various sports, achieving success in sports competitions in the country and abroad. It should be noted in this context that APSM is the only association of sports journalists in the world that regularly organizes Olympics at 11 sporting events, with the participation of the press, state institutions, diplomats, private companies. The MAIB mini-football team is one of the most active in the championships organized by APSM. Also this year, the footballers from Moldova Agroindbank won the Open Press Cup in futsal.
The Sports Press Association of the Republic of Moldova was established in 1993. Currently, this organization includes over 80 athletes from newspapers and magazines, news agencies, TV and radio, news portals, blogs, photographers, freelancers, collaborators of press services from sports clubs and organizations.
The partnership between MAIB and APSM spans almost two decades: annually the bank supports the development of mini-football tournaments among amateur teams, other sporting and festive events organized by APSM, including the Sports Press Laureates Gala.
