Maib reaffirms its commitment to backing performance and excellence by signing a partnership with the National Teams Training Center (CSPLN). Through this agreement, the bank will assist in training 23 young ambitious athletes, providing them with the necessary resources to turn their dreams into reality.
This partnership aims to promote sportspeople from the national teams by providing financial and logistical resources, accelerating their development and preparing them for major international competitions, where they will represent the Republic of Moldova.
The partnership signing event took place at maib park, with the presence of athletes, coaches, director of CSPNL, Nicolae Ciobanu, head of the Sports and Youth Department within MEC, Marcel Marian, representatives of maib and the bank’s CEO, Giorgi Shagidze. Marcel Marian, Head of the Sports and Youth Department within the Ministry of Education and Research:
“Sport shapes character, promotes values, and, at the same time, requires support. Therefore, it is essential to have a connection between the private sector and high-performance sports in the Republic of Moldova. It is a field that deserves support, investment, and appreciation for its true value.”
Adil Osmanov, judoist:
“The backing of such large companies will help athletes succeed more quickly and make our citizens proud to be Moldovans. No one has yet become a world champion in the Republic of Moldova's history. I would be delighted if I or my colleagues were the ones who achieved such a result.”
