Maib featured in the Moldova discussion panel at Annual Frontier Day conference in Bucharest organized by Bucharest Stock Exchange and WOOD&CO.
Giorgi Shagidze, maib CEO, was one of the speakers, while maib's own Vasile Tofan, the Supervisory Board member, moderated the panel. Alongside the leaders of Purcari and Moldtelecom, two other notable Moldovan companies, and in front of international investor audience, Giorgi discussed the opportunities that Moldova has, now that it is an EU candidate country: the potential for economic growth and foreign investment advances in technology and new products.
The panel also discussed challenges and solutions faced by companies Moldova, such as attracting the best talent, meeting the regulatory requirements, coping with the aftermath of war in Ukraine and helping Moldovan businesses grow. The panel was well attended and marked by high interest by the international and Romanian investor audience.
