The support we offer allows us to stay true to our mission of creating an inclusive business environment that provides women with all the tools they need to turn their vision into reality.”
Cristina Doros, Senior Vice President and Visa Group Country Manager in CISSEE:
“Since 2019, we have been implementing the She's Next Empowered by Visa initiative globally, assisting tens of thousands of ambitious women in launching or expanding their businesses and realizing their full potential.
In 2023, we introduced the She’s Next initiative to Moldova, and since then, we have remained committed to providing female entrepreneurs in the country with essential support and resources. I am confident that the Women Accelerator “She’s Next” will be immensely valuable for women in Moldova in achieving their business goals.”
The program aims to support the most talented and innovative female entrepreneurs in Moldova, helping them to double their monthly business revenues within three months. The accelerator is dedicated to female entrepreneurs with small businesses, generating monthly revenues between 1,000 € and 5,000 €, who wish to expand their market presence both regionally and internationally.
Svitlana Chyrva, Visa Vice President and Country Manager for Ukraine and Moldova:
In Moldova, as around the world, Visa’s mission is to amplify the collective impact of women on the national economy. For this reason, Visa is honoured to support the Women Accelerator program 'She's Next' for the second consecutive year. This year, the program will provide Moldovan women entrepreneurs with even more opportunities to succeed in business.”
Throughout the Women Accelerator program "She's Next," participants will attend 15 offline workshops and 1 online workshop, along with 4 inspirational talks and 3 Visa webinars. These sessions will cover essential entrepreneurial skills, including sales, social media marketing, business accounting, customer loyalty, and more.
Additionally, they will benefit from individual mentoring sessions with successful businesswomen from Moldova and will have the opportunity to participate in the Business Speed Dating networking event. Participants will gain access to digital tools and a network of like-minded female entrepreneurs. Furthermore, those selected will receive special business solution packages provided by Visa, maib, and partners, tailored to the specific needs of small businesses.
The Women Accelerator “She’s Next” will culminate with “Demo Day”, an event where the startup teams will showcase their journey and progress in revenue growth. They will also compete for a business development grant of 5,000 €, provided by Visa and maib.
Cristian Bounegru, Finance in Motion:
“It is said that the greatest ideas are born from the courage to dream and the determination to act. In this acceleration program, we have entrepreneurs who have chosen exactly this path - dreaming and turning those dreams into reality. We, at Finance in Motion and EFSE, are honored to be part of this partnership aimed at supporting female entrepreneurs, providing them with the environment necessary for their potential to come to life and their ideas to be transformed into successful businesses.”
Renata Ungureanu, Operations Director at XY Partners:
“XY Partners believes in the power of women entrepreneurship. Over the past five years, we have organized programs to support entrepreneurs, and the women beneficiaries have repeatedly demonstrated that ambition and determination are the keys to business success. We have had female entrepreneurs who built businesses from scratch and expanded into international markets, achieving results they had never imagined.
All of this has been made possible thanks to the support they received. We are proud to state that the program will contribute to both revenue growth and the creation of a community of women ready to support, encourage, and motivate each other. We wish success to the 21 beneficiaries. The program begins today, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements.”
The first edition of the Women Accelerator “She’s Next” in Moldova, supported by She’s Next Empowered by Visa, in partnership with maib and EFSE, helped 30 women develop their businesses through comprehensive training and networking opportunities.
