Maib and the Smith&Smith system offer you a new, convenient, simple and fast way to receive transfers from abroad - directly to your card. You have two options to receive the money transferred through the Smith&Smith system: through the maibank app or through the maibpay.md web page, the T2C service. The transfer will be made directly to your maib card, without coming to the bank, whenever and wherever you are.
How does it work through the maibank app?
To receive the transfer, you need to have the maibank app installed on your phone:
- access the mobile app;
- select "International transfer to card" from the Payments menu;
- follow the instructions and the money will quickly arrive in the account.
How does maibpay.md work?
To receive the transfer, you need the transfer number, your IDNP, your maibank card number and your phone number. With this data, a few simple steps follow:
- access the T2C service;
- enter the requested data into the system;
- via an SMS you receive the OTP code, which you enter on the confirmation page.
The money reaches the card account quickly, without any commission fees. If the currency of the maib card differs from that of the transfer, the money will be automatically converted at the bank's exchange rate.
