We have repeatedly said that maib plants good deeds, and we continue to prove it with real actions. The maib forest is just one example of our commitment to protecting nature and the environment. The maib forest is located in the Cruzești commune near the capital city, on land with an increased risk of landslides and degradation.
The project started in 2021, and the commitment we made with the planting of this first forest in Cruzești continues annually. In February 2023, 115 conifer saplings joined the maib forest.

"Due to a wildfire and drought last summer, conifers planted in 2021 suffered. This Saturday, we did their replacement and care work in the shape of the maib logo. They are growing well in their new home, and during the year we are going to take care of them, water them, and mow the grass. We were lucky to have some rain right after planting, which is a good sign."
We remind you that in the fall of 2021, on an area of 2 hectares, the maib forest was planted in the shape of the bank's logo, and in 2022, over 2000 maple and acacia saplings expanded the forested area of the land.
Acting with the belief that forests are among the few renewable sources that directly influence the quality of the soil and the environment, the ambassadors of good deeds within maib have already started planning for the third edition of planting and expanding forested areas.
