It's common to have cards at multiple banks in Moldova. Now, thanks to the new MIA service "Me2Me," you can transfer money to yourself or to cards opened at other banks with 0 MDL commission.
This option allows you to transfer money in MDL from any account opened at maib to other personal accounts opened at different financial institutions in the country in just a few clicks.
How much you can transfer with 0 MDL commission via MIA:
- limit per operation for free transfers: 5 000 MDL
- daily limit for free transfers: 10 000 MDL
- monthly limit for free transfers:: 30 000 MDL
*the 0 MDL commission applies for transactions up to 10 000 lei, in case of more than 10 000 lei, a 0.5% commission is charged
How to use the new feature in maibank:
- select the "transfer between my accounts" option from the main menu of the app;
- choose the active maib account from which you want to make the transfer;
- choose the "transfer to account via MIA " to initiate the transfer;
- enter the amount you want to transfer;
- check the data entered and confirm that it is correct;
- press the "continue " button and enjoy quick and easy account top-up
Important! To receive "Me2Me" transfers, subscribe to the MIA Instant Payments service.
How to subscribe to MIA Instant Payments:
- Update the app;
- Go to settings in maibank;
- Activate the "MIA Instant Payments" option and save the changes.
