BC "Moldova Agroindbank" SA ranked in the "Top 100 successful brands in Moldova" in 2016, which was announced during the Awards Gala, organized on December 21 by the magazine "VIP Magazin".
One hundred brands were named from 800 names based on online voting, the board of experts and members of the editorial board.
This appreciation confirms the undisputed leading position in the banking segment of MAIB, which within 25 years has become a bank with a well-defined corporate identity, outstanding financial results, holding offers for different customer segments, the number of which has exceeded 700 thousand.
"Moldova Agroindbank means a strong brand on the banking market and an institution with an important role in the development of the national economy. With a reliable reputation, in these 25 years of activity, the bank has been appreciated both by its clients and partners, as well as by prestigious international institutions. Today, MAIB is the leader of the banking market, followed in the strategies applied by the banks in the system, being associated as a pillar of the system ", declared the Chairman of the MAIB Management Committee Serghei Cebotari.
Present at the Awards Gala, Mr Oleg Paingu, Vice President of the MAIB Steering Committee, mentioned that the bank has always held the lead in the system according to the financial activity indicators. Hence, the inclusion of MAIB in the "Top 100 successful brands in Moldova" is a natural result of the vote of confidence given by the public.
The figures also speak of MAIB's popularity and recognition. On 11/30/2016, BC "Moldova Agroindbank" SA held assets worth over 19 billion. MAIB has a share of 30% of all loans in the banking system, which amounts to over 11 billion lei, and the deposit rate reaches 28% and is over 15 billion.
It should be noted that this is not the only appreciation of BC "Moldova Agroindbank" SA in 2016. The international financial publication "Global Banking & Finance Review" awarded it, for the fourth time in 2016, the title of "Best Commercial Bank in Moldova". Moreover, BC "Moldova Agroindbank" SA is the only banking institution in our country included in the top of the best banks in the emerging markets in Central and Eastern Europe. At the regional level, MAIB is included in the ranking of the largest "100 banks in Southeast Europe", ranking 71st, and in the "Top 100 most profitable banks in the CIS", developed by Ria Rating MAIB 68th.
