BC "Moldova Agroindbank" SA won the Medal and the Title of Champion in Business, which were awarded by the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Moldova as a sign of high appreciation of MAIB's contribution to the development of Olympic sport.
The distinctions were presented by the President of the NOC, Nicolae Juravschi, during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Race that took place on Sunday, May 20, with the participation of E.S. The Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Keith Shannon, the Mayor General of Chisinau, Dorin Chirtoaca, deputies, government officials, members of the Olympic Committee, professional and amateur athletes. In total, the Olympic Race brought together hundreds of participants. For the first time, members of the Paralympic teams took part in this event.
Nicolae Juravschi emphasized in the opening of the Race the interaction established between the NOC and the partner companies, BC "Moldova Agroindbank" SA being a sustainable and faithful partner of performance sports in Moldova. This year too, MAIB is the sponsor of the London 2012 Olympic Team, hoping that this support will facilitate the team's participation in the Olympic Games and bring "Good Luck" to Moldovan players.
The Bank will closely monitor developments in the preparation and participation of the National Olympic Team in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and a project carried out with the financial support of the MAIB.
