Maib successfully registered the first corporate bond issue this year in the Register of Securities Issuers

Maib announces the registration in the Register of Securities Issuers and the approval by the National Commission for Financial Markets of the results regarding the first corporate bond issue, which took place between 25 April and 15 May. Over 12 months, maib will conduct 4 corporate bond issues.

Within the first issue, 2927 nominal class I bonds with a total value of MDL 58,540,000 were subscribed in maib's branches and at the bank's Corporate Investment Department, the nominal value per bond being MDL 20,000. The circulation period of these bonds is 3 years, and the interest rate is floating, being linked to the interest rate offered by maib to individuals on the "maib classic" deposit opened for a term of 365 days, plus a fixed margin of 2%, to be paid quarterly.
