The MAIB awards list is completed this year with the "Leader in Card Performance 2021" trophy, offered by the international payment system Mastercard for the achievements and development of modern payment solutions this year.
The award was presented at the annual "Mastercard Day" event in Moldova. International business and banking experts, representatives of commercial banks in the country, and development partners were invited as speakers.

MAIB issues a wide range of Mastercard bank cards, the most recent being the GAMA card collection - the first guaranteed cashback card in the country. In 2019 and 2020, Mastercard awarded MAIB with the "Leader in Acquiring" trophy from Moldova - the most prominent card acceptor in all business areas: POS terminals, ATMs, e-commerce, self-service terminals, public transport, a bank offering to its customers the most varied and innovative solutions for accepting payments by bank cards.
