Maib, BAA Gladei and Partners and Donaris VIG announce the winners of the merit scholarships for legal students

Maib, together with the BAA Gladei and Partners and Donaris Vienna Insurance Group, continues to invest in talented young people in the legal field, promoting meritocracy and academic excellence. In the 9th edition of the Merit Scholarship Program, we were delighted to celebrate the achievements of legal students. The students were challenged to express their perspective on a legal topical issue by writing an essay on “Bancassurance: legal obligations and risks”. This topic was chosen to encourage critical thinking and to explore the relationship between law and the financial sector. It also provides a unique opportunity for students to demonstrate their analytical and argumentative skills.

Aelita Orhei, Head of Legal Department at maib:

“We are delighted to see so much talent and dedication among law students. These scholarships are more than just a reward. They are an opportunity for young people to develop their skills in a proper professional environment. We congratulate the winners and wish them all the best in their professional journey.”

Roger Gladei, Managing Partner BAA Gladei and Partners:

“Nine years ago, we launched this project to help at least one talented young person pay their tuition in law. We are three partners this year, and they have offered scholarships and internships. It's our joint, still small, contribution to building a career at home.”

Vladislav Tîltu, Head of Legal Department at Donaris VIG:

“At Donaris VIG, we believe young people who follow their passions and work hard to achieve their goals create the future. We decided to join this project to support students showing great potential. We want to encourage innovation and the desire to succeed - through their own efforts.”

The scholarship award event brought together students and representatives of partner institutions, creating a remarkable setting to highlight the achievements and aspirations of young legal professionals. Simply participating in this event felt like climbing a mountain that, until now, seemed incredibly high and had difficult paths.”
