The awards ceremony for the “Trademark of the Year” and “Quality Achievement Award” competitions, held by the State Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the State Property Agency, took place on June 7, 2016. Intellectual, during the "Moldovan Business Gala". Moldova Agroindbank participated in the two competitions along with other national brands, where it won two important trophies.
In the "Trademark of the Year" competition, BC "Moldodova Agroindbank" SA won the Grand Prize - "Golden Mercury" and an honorary diploma for the "Consecrated Trademark" nomination. The high title that was conferred for MAIB, in the category "Financial, publishing, consumer and retail services", represents the significant recognition that the institution enjoys, being qualified as the best known in the country. "Golden Mercury" was also awarded to the bank for its substantial contribution to developing the national economy.
The high distinction was presented to Mr Serghei Cebotari by the first President of the Republic of Moldova, Mircea Snegur. His presence had a special significance, the event being organized in the context of the 25th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the Republic of Moldova.
In the second competition, "Achievements in the field of quality", MAIB was decorated with the Grand Prize - "Goddess of Quality", awarded to the bank for the first time. The award was given for the policy and strategy applied by the bank in the field of quality management. This important distinction reconfirmed the efficiency of the quality management methods within the bank and, at the same time, the significant results obtained by MAIB regarding the quality of products and services.
Serghei Cebotari, Chairperson of the Management Committee of BC Moldova Agroindbank, stated: "MAIB's recognition and quality awards are a true testament to the bank's place in the country's banking system. During 25 years of activity, Moldova Agroindbank has put the customer, the establishment of lasting partnerships, and the quality of the products and services provided at the forefront. The results obtained are also due to the bank's employees, who are directly involved in implementing the daily quality management system".
