Pursuing its mission to support young people in shaping a strong professional future, maib has officially launched the fourth edition of its internship program. The launch event, held in a friendly atmosphere at maib park, brought together the 19 students selected from an impressive total of 140 applicants, their mentors and some of the bank’s management team.
Maib CEO Giorgi Shagidze emphasized the importance of supporting young talents and maib’s role in guiding them towards a successful professional future. Svetlana Bodaci, Human Resources Director, revealed details of how maib’s culture encourages innovation and ongoing development.
The 19 participants in the program come from prestigious institutions - the Center of Excellence in Economics and Finance, the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, the Technical University of Moldova and the State University of Moldova - and will have the unique opportunity to discover how a top bank works from the inside. Over the next six months, these talented young people will work alongside experienced mentors in the bank's key departments such as Marketing, IT, Retail, Retail Services, Contact Center and Human Resources.
The maib internship program offers not only an exceptional educational experience, but also financial support in the form of a monthly scholarship of 2000 MDL to each participant.
Additionally, from January 1 to March 1, students will work together to develop an innovative project that will be presented to the bank’s management and evaluated for possible implementation. It’s an opportunity to actively contribute to banking transformation, exploring ideas and solutions that can change the future.
Maib continues its commitment to educating future generations of professionals and providing students with a learning experience and a place where they can create, inspire, simplify and innovate.
