Maib launches the domestic transfer service (local to local) online: https://maibpay.md/ . You can make p2p transfers between the cards of any bank in Moldova quickly and safely whenever needed.
How to make a P2P transfer between the cards of different banks in the Republic of Moldova:
- access https://maibpay.md/ ;
- enter your card data, issued by any bank in the country: name and surname, card number, validity term, card CVV code;
- enter the card data on which you will transfer the money (any card issued by a Moldovan bank) the beneficiary’s name and surname, the card number;
- enter the transfer amount and currency (MDL/USD/EUR);
- confirm the transaction by entering the OTP code received by SMS to your phone number.
Interbank transfers are only possible on cards of Mastercard and Visa payment systems. In the case of American Express, you can only perform p2p between maib cards.
Topping up any maib card through maib pay or maibank mobile app from any card issued by commercial banks of the Republic of Moldova or from the Mastercard issued by a bank abroad is free of charge.
Suppose there is a difference between the currency of the transaction and the currency of the card account. In that case, the conversion into the currency of the account will be performed at the rate of the sender’s/beneficiary’s bank.
