Maib has been recognized as one of the most innovative financial institutions in Central and Eastern Europe as part of the prestigious “The Innovators 2025” program, organized by the international publication Global Finance. The recognition was awarded for the bank’s Bancassurance project, developed in partnership with Donaris VIG of Vienna Insurance Group (VIG). This modern, digital solution seamlessly integrates banking and insurance services into a user-friendly financial ecosystem.
The award highlights maib’s achievements in digitizing financial services and underscores its commitment to delivering fast, fully digital, and comprehensive experiences to today’s customers. The Bancassurance offering includes:
- Credit Protection Insurance (CPI): Covers loan installments in case of illness or job loss, protecting customers and their families from financial stress. The entire process, from loan agreement to compensation, is handled directly through the maibank app.
- RCA and Green Card Insurance: Can be purchased directly in maibank for personal or other vehicles.
- Travel Insurance: Easily purchased via the maibank app.
These solutions were designed to enhance customer protection and provide convenience wherever and whenever insurance needs arise.
