Another trophy in the maib football team's impressive collection of awards.
Maib footballers were awarded at the Moldova Sports Press Association Gala event, which took place on Sunday, December 18, bringing together the best athletes, coaches and sports teams of 2022.
Eduard Ciobanu, President of the Moldovan Sports Press Association:
"Maib's football team is the most successful in corporate sports in Moldova, frequently winning the title of champion at various national competitions, including the Open Press Cup in mini-football. The fact that it has access to the TOP-8 of the Business Euro Cup tournament proves that the maib football team is already a formidable force in the international arena. For these reasons, the maib team became the laureate of the 2022 Sports Press Gala! Good luck!"
We mention that also in 2018, the maib football team won the trophy and the nomination of "The best corporate team". In 2019, maib footballers won the Cup of the Football League mini-football tournament (winter–spring). At the same time, in 2020, for the promotion of sport and the Olympic movement in our country, the National Olympic Committee awarded the maib footballers with the "Sport fără frontiere" trophy.
Ivan Buga, player of the maib football team:
"We thank our colleagues for their unconditional support and the bank's management for being by our side and encouraging the team to continue this activity. We are honoured to carry the bank's fame and actively promote healthy lifestyle."
