We choose to be eco: we have minimised bureaucracy and reduced the number of pages of contracts so that they contain only the strictly necessary information, day by day, we print less and even then opt for double-sided printing to save resources.
Because we believe in a joint effort and the power of good practice, we invite maib customers to join in the good deeds by doing something as simple as helping the environment.
The first step in this direction is to stop printing receipts at ATMs. Even if it seems like a small piece of paper, the thousands of daily transactions at over 330 maib ATMs show that small things taken together have a bigger impact than expected.
We urge you to print your receipt at ATMs only when necessary, for example, when carrying out a transaction for which you will need physical proof. Practice shows that in most cases, they simply fall out near ATMs, get crumpled up in pockets, and fly out of bins, but rarely end up being used for their actual purpose.
