Agile WoW maib: rResults reported and new goals assumed set within traditional QBR

Team commitment, debate, constructive discussions and ambitious results characterize agile maib teams! During the recent QBR (Quarterly Business Review) Marketplace event, the seven maib agile orchestras shared their results for the last quarter and plans for the next one.

Within the QBR Marketplace:

  • people communicate about the results obtained in the last quarter, lessons learned, challenges encountered, eventual failures and new opportunities discovered;
  • the objectives for the next quarter are discussed for each band, accord, and orchestra;
  • the plans of the business lines are aligned, emphasizing the added value and experience created for customers and market opportunities.

Among the results mentioned by the orchestras in the last quarter of 2022, the main ones are:

  • the increase in the market share for consumer and mortgage loans (achieving a record in the last 2 years) of the number of cards in circulation;
  • the development of new products and the launch of the first digital card in Moldova. Launching the freelancer card;
  • increasing the CSAT indicator for BB customers;
  • increasing by 10% the MDL payments automatically processed by the system;
  • launching new offers dedicated to investments in renewable resources.

At the same time, the new orchestras that were launched in November 2022 revised their missions and directions. Thus, in the following period:

  • Retail Banking Segment will pursue the mission of creating incredible sales by creating a fantastic customer experience using innovative Al technologies, designing, gathering knowledge and engaging the customer in the product ecosystem.
  • Retail Banking Payments will pursue the mission of providing customers with a flexible, user-friendly and innovative solution to become the #1 bank in terms of payments.
  • Business Banking Daily is in charge of creating a better experience for our customers by providing smart, easy-to-use and innovative solutions, becoming the #1 business partner.

Continuing the agile transformation, all maib teams will continue actively improving products with a customer-first focus to create, inspire and simplify.

We note that maib is the first bank in Moldova and the region to start a complex agile implementation process, which will contribute to the transformation of the bank's way of doing business, aiming to create a new standard of customer experience to make their lives simpler, better and more mobile.
