Maib warns that it does not offer cryptocurrency investment services, does not have web pages dedicated to cryptocurrency investment and trading, does not collaborate with third-party companies that provide cryptocurrency trading services and does not conduct trading on its behalf.
Any ads, commercials and other images using the maib image that appear online about investing in cryptocurrencies are malicious scams.
Again, maib urges vigilance and compliance with the following rules:
- Do not disclose your data to anyone, including your card details, card number, expiry date, CVV, PIN code or OTP passwords received via SMS.
- Do not access links received from unknown people or posted on social media that contain attractive get-rich-quick offers. Check the information about the promotions and campaigns organized by the bank by accessing the official page maib.md, the maib Facebook page (contains a blue tick, a sign that it is verified/accurate) or by calling the Contact Center at 1313.
- Check if the post containing the maib logo and promises high earnings and high-income investments is published on the maib official page.
