Due to international economic sanctions imposed on Russia because of the conflict in Ukraine, banks in the EU and the US have restricted foreign currency payments to the Russian Federation. Following recommendations from our EU partners, maib will suspend EUR payments to beneficiaries in the Russian Federation starting December 23, 2024.
USD payments will continue to be processed, provided they are accepted by our correspondent bank.
