We are pleased to announce a new option for payments in MDL made through maib. As of November 13, 2024, maib introduces a new functionality that will facilitate the processing of payments even when there are insufficient financial resources to cover the related fees.
How does it work?
- If your account balance covers the main amount of the transaction but not the associated fees, a debt for the difference will be automatically created at the end of the day, and the payment will be successfully processed the same day.
- This will be recovered automatically from your available accounts, starting the following day, without your involvement.

- All Corporate customers and Business Banking customers subscribed to business packages.
This functionality allows payments in MDL to be processed quickly and efficiently, avoiding the risk of rejection due to a lack of resources for fees.
