We want to inform you about a new fraud method to get your money or personal bank data and help you avoid it!
To mislead you, scammers use fake email addresses similar to the official maib email. Under the pretext of an update in connection with a new account security law, scammers send an email informing you about blocking your account with the urge to access a fake link to reactivate your account.
We recommend you:
- Do not click on the link in this email or other emails received from unknown and unverified addresses;
- Delete these emails from your mailbox;
- Never give your card details by email or SMS – card number, CVV, PIN or expiration date.
Do you suspect that someone has obtained personal information from you? Immediately block the card through the maibank mobile app or call 1313. Please inform us of any suspicious situation at the same short number, 1313, or through info@maib.md.
