From September 1, 2022, the maturity for maib classic deposits will be automatically extended, if customers do not request the return of the financial resources. The change in updated conditions applies to both new and existing deposits on September 1, 2022, in accordance with art. 1746 (3) of the Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova.
For the deposit automatically updated for a new term, the fixed interest rate, in force on the date of extension, will be applied. In this way, customers save time and resources because they do not have to do extra trips to the bank.
