At maib, the customer is always at the center of our attention, and we always want you to be well informed to manage your time efficiently. We inform you that maib will cease providing all financial services related to the accounts held by individuals in the Russian Rouble (RUB). The decision follows the legal provisions of the General Banking Terms and Conditions for Individuals of B.C. "MAIB" S.A., pt. 2.1.3.3.7 and 2.1.3.7.
You can close your current accounts in RUB with no costs at any maib branch until September 10, 2024. After this date, current accounts in RUB held by individuals will be closed, and fees will be charged in accordance with the BC "MAIB" S.A.'s Tariffs and Fees Register for services provided to retail customers.
Funds in RUB held in your current accounts will be transferred to other current accounts you hold and converted into the respective currency. You can request cash in MDL at any maib branch if you do not have other accounts.
